Zhang Xiaotao began his career as a painter, and today he is one of the most intriguing New Media artists in China. Born in 1970, he lives and works in Beijing and Chongqing.

Carmel Ilan was born in Jerusalem. A graduate of Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Israel, with an MA from Parsons School of Design, New York, she worked as a textile and furniture designer.
